Depending upon features, apps can take as little as 1-2 months to develop or over 6 months. Usually the process works by first a series of client meetings to understand goals and KPIs. Then we move on to building out design documentation and flowcharts, before sending over a prototype to be reviewed. This stage is usually billed separate in order to provide a simple step-by-step process without the client having to dive in and commit all at once.
Once the prototype is complete, we then develop a development plan with milestones, which are different phases of development. Payment is only due at the end of each milestone, so you never have to pay for everything up front.
Upon completion of the build, we help get the app into app stores if you are looking at selling it there. Also, we offer monthly development plans in case you would like us to stay on and help add features as your company grows or as customers using the app request. We have experience with helping customers get their apps into the stores, as some of them (such as Apple) have high standards, so we make sure to develop an app that is more likely to be approved as we know the requirements for getting published.

Absolutely! Once an app is developed, it is not one-and-done. It will need maintenance, updates for security, enhancements, performance optimizations and more. We offer all of that for either an hourly rate or you can pre-purchase hours in advance for a reduced rate.
